Frequently Asked Questions

1. What is Form Theory?

Form Theory is a chiropractic and rehab clinic that helps people end pain, restore movement, and stay active. We combine hands-on treatment with targeted strength and mobility work so you can get back to doing what you love.

2. How is this different from traditional chiropractic care?

We go beyond quick adjustments. Your care includes manual therapy, joint mobilization, and active rehab so results last. Every session is tailored to you and includes education, treatment, and take-home strategies.

3. Do you only work with athletes?

Not at all. We help runners, parents, desk workers, retirees—anyone who wants to move better and live without pain.

4. Do you take X-rays?

We don't require routine X-rays to start care. If we suspect something more serious or need more detail, we'll refer you for imaging and review the results with you.

5. What should I expect at my first visit?

We start with a detailed movement assessment and a conversation about your goals. You'll receive your first treatment the same day and leave with a clear plan for what comes next.

6. How long are sessions?

Your first visit is 60 minutes. Follow-ups are usually 20–30 minutes depending on your needs.

7. Do you take insurance?

We're a cash-based practice, which allows us to give you more time and personalized care without insurance limitations. We can provide itemized receipts if you'd like to submit to your insurance or use HSA/FSA funds.

8. How many visits will I need?

It depends on your condition, goals, and follow-through. Many people notice improvement in 2–4 visits, but lasting change usually takes a short, focused plan.

9. What kinds of issues do you treat?

Back pain, neck pain, joint pain, sports injuries, mobility restrictions, chronic stiffness—anything that's keeping you from moving or feeling your best.

10. Do you give exercises to do at home?

Yes. We give you simple, targeted movements to speed recovery and help you maintain results between visits.

11. Do I need a referral?

No referral is needed — you can book directly with us.

12. What if I've tried other treatments that didn't work?

We take a different approach by combining hands-on care with active rehab so you build lasting results instead of temporary relief. Every plan is tailored to your specific goals and movement needs.

13. Can you work around my training or work schedule?

Yes. We'll build a plan that fits your life, not the other way around, and adjust treatment so you can stay active while healing.

14. Is this safe if I'm injured or in a lot of pain?

Yes. We'll start at a level your body can tolerate and progress at your pace, making sure you're never pushed into unsafe movements.

15. Do you offer package rates or memberships?

Yes. We offer pre-paid packages and monthly maintenance options that save money and keep you moving long-term.
